An Evolutionary Lent Retreat

Teilhard de Chardin once said that accepting evolution as the way God acts changes everything. It does! This mini-retreat will take us into the Lenten experience through Teilhard’s evolutionary perspective. Come, pray, and expand your heart and mind during the transformative time that is Lent. From an evolutionary perspective “repentance” means “transformation” and transformation means “heart expansion.” We might say “Remember, you are life and into Life you will grow.”

Participants enter Lent through short presentations, group reflection and sharing, quiet time, outdoor walking and journaling activities.
Mike Reiling is a retired high school theology teacher and a retreat leader who specializes in adult programs centering around the thought of Teilhard de Chardin, evolutionary spirituality and spiritual journaling.
