Resilience and the Science of Happiness

January 19, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Kim Langley, Presenter

“The grace of God means something like: Here is your life. You might never have been, but you are because the party wouldn’t have been complete without you. Here is the world. Beautiful and terrible things will happen. Don’t be afraid.”
                 Frederick Buechner

Bob Roach, Summit Metroparks

Paula D’Arcy says “God comes to us disguised as our lives.” This practical spirituality unites both positive psychology and soul work. We will look at how to handle changes, explore skills for resilience, and look at the role of on-the-go prayer. There will be time for  simple meditation and discussion of gratitude practice. This session is both an evidence based and data driven approach to the science of happiness, and a path toward a no nonsense holiness and wholeness that anyone can walk.

$20  Register by January 16

Come at 9 am for coffee, tea, and morning snacks.
