Lighting the Flame

“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another.  Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.”

When I read this quote from Albert Schweitzer I think of how Centering Space has made a difference in my life, has relit a flame in my world.  I will be the first to admit I am one of those ‘unchurched’ seekers.  I consider myself deeply spiritual and, while I so respect those who find meaning in organized religion, it is not for me.  And it doesn’t matter at Centering Space.  All are truly welcome.  Those who faithfully attend a service of some sort each week and those who find the spirit in daily meditations, or walks in nature, or in the eyes of a child or some beautiful piece of art or poetry.

So it is with deep gratitude that I say thank you to Centering Space for their many thought-provoking and inspiring programs, for the friendships I’ve developed and for the openness to all views of spirituality.

At this time of year especially gratitude easily translates into financial support.  This month Centering Space is asking those who have found Centering Space to be a light in their lives to donate to our work. November 1 has been designated as Centering Space Giving Day although donations are always welcome.

Please consider how Centering Space has touched you and possibly rekindled a light in you. Choose to contribute to support this life enhancing work. Ultimately you are becoming a partner in our ministry and expanding our ability to reach out to other seekers.

Blessings,
