Contemplative Spirituality
March 10, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Facilitated by Alan Kolp
Contemplative living is the alternative
to the culturally addictive traps of our culture.
Contemplative Spirituality is choosing to live a life filled with wonder, steeped in purpose and deep with meaning. It is a way of life which is guided by practices rooted in a discipline that keeps us on track. It is enriched if we are part of community. Life lived contemplatively brings a sense of well-being and wholeness.
This program embodies the intentionality of Centering Space, connects individuals with each other and facilitates a common quest for the God who permeates our lives. It is a discovery of what already is and an encouragement of all that can be – for each one of us.
You can go it alone – or you can join some like-minded folks to learn from various spiritual traditions, plus share the wisdom of the people present in the group.
$15 / session or $40 for the series. Please register early.
Alan Kolp is a Professor of Religion and Chair of Faith and Life at Baldwin Wallace University. He is a Benedictine Oblate and lifelong Quaker. Alan is also a Member and on the Board of Directors of the International Thomas Merton Society.
