Sacred Nature
March 18, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Facilitated by Patrick Gibbons
This presentation will focus on the book Sacred Nature: Restoring Our Bond with the Natural World by Karen Armstrong, a prominent religion scholar and writer. Armstrong believes that in addition to what scientists are telling us about the environment “we need to recover the veneration of nature that human beings carefully cultivated for millennia.”
Participants are strongly encouraged to read the book. We will prayerfully reflect upon and discuss insights and practices that world religions have developed through time to foster a sacred relationship with the natural world.
$30
