Esther: Through the Artist’s Lens
February 4 @ 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Facilitated by Rabbi Enid Lader
On Zoom
The book of Esther is a tale of hidden identities, blatant hatred of the Jews, courage in the face of danger, a laughable king and his evil right-hand man… and a beautiful young woman who finds herself faced with a life-threatening decision – for herself and her people.
And that’s just the Reader’s Digest version!
After we tell the tale, we’ll examine a variety of paintings that depict the story – from a variety of perspectives.
$20
