Living with the Challenges of Dementia

July 11 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

This program is designed to engage family caregivers who have loved ones with a Dementia or Alzheimer’s diagnosis.
Margie and Carlos will present information they have gleaned from their life work in developing positive communication techniques, sharing ideas for healthy activities and pointing out available resources for the future.
Participants will be invited to share their own experiences and learnings.

We will help guide you through developing next steps in a care plan for you and your loved one.

Margie Orth has always been looking for ways to take care of people and pay her blessings forward.
Now as General Manager of Home Instead she is living her mission of service to others.

Carlos Lewis-Miller is a Community Educator with the Cleveland Area Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
He has his BA and MA in Medical Anthropology. Carlos has 3 years of volunteer experience that consists of tutoring, gardening, meal-delivering, and coaching.
