Come Forth Book Discussion

Drawing on his own compassion and wisdom,
Father James Martin, SJ reflects upon the
story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead to
present us with lessons on love, family, anger,
frustration, fear, freedom, sadness and joy.
A deeper understanding of this Bible story can
guide us to recognize our own resurrections.
Richard Rohr calls this book a “spiritual masterpiece.”
Participants need to have read the book.
$15/session or $40 for all three
Betsy has found great meaning in quiet, shared retreat experiences
with others. She holds a BA in Education and Master’s Degrees in
Counseling/Human Services and Ministry and has a certificate in
Prayer and Retreat Leadership from the Shalem Institute.
