We will explore the story of Teresa’s experience of prayer and relate it to our own spiritual lives; in particular, the inner growth she describes in her masterpiece, “The Interior Castle.”

Wayne Simsic is the author of books on the mystics, including Teresa of Avila (“The Inward Path to God: A Prayer Journey with St. Teresa of Avila”)  and John of the Cross.  He directs retreats and leads seminars on prayer and the spiritual life and recently served on the staff of the Cleveland Ecumenical Institute for Religious Studies.

As a non-profit organization, Centering Space is reliant on retreat fees, program donations, grants and annual gifts for its operating funds. In order to continue to offer our services free of charge to those who cannot afford to pay, we need to assure the viability of the organization through ongoing fundraising.
