Centering Space is an independent 501(c)(3) organization. Although the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine have provided a generous endowment and offer ongoing support in various capacities, we function as a distinct non-profit ministry. To ensure long-term sustainability, we actively seek contributions from donors. We invite you to consider opportunities to create a lasting legacy through your support.

Giving Day 2026

Sunday, November 1st  |  1 – 3 pm

Join us at our Open House as we celebrate 23 years of being a peaceful presence in the heart of Lakewood.

We opened our doors in November 2003 as a house of prayer and discernment—and have become so much more over the years. None of this would be possible without your dedication and commitment to our mission.

We depend on donors and generous gifts throughout the year to maintain the house, compensate our exceptional presenters, and strengthen our ministry.

Stop by for cider and donuts, and meet members of the Centering Space family. If you are able, we would be deeply grateful for a gift to this year’s Giving Day.
