Pope Leo XIV has chosen the arrival of AI as the topic of his first Encyclical and the title, ‘Magnifica Humanitas,’ tells us where he focuses his attention, as the rest of the title says: “On Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence.”
