Reading the Bible from the Underside: A Journey of Liberation

Saturday, March 28 | 10-11:30 am
How do people who have been historically marginalized, by race, class, gender, or other social factors, interpret the Bible?
How do those who benefit from unjust structures use the Bible to justify their worldview and make their viewpoints normative?
Alex will help us recognize these two difference experiences and voices and helps us challenge ourselves to a wider biblical perspective.
Come to engage in this eye-opening perspective on the cherished words of our spiritual tradition.
