Across the Centuries: Julian and Denise

Lady Julian of Norwich, anchoress and mystic, lived in the late Middle Ages. Julian had many Revelations from God, which she called Showings. She spent the rest of her life writing about her experiences, and her writings have been preserved.

Poet Denise Levertov has written several poems about Lady Julian, her life, and her experiences.    We will share some biographical information about Lady Julian and explore Levertov’s poems about her. Come and share in the depth of spiritual wisdom that accompanies our conversations at Centering Space!
