Hacking Darwin: Genetic Engineering and the Future of Humanity
November 3, 2022 @ 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
A Book Discussion facilitated by Joe Konen
Hacking Darwin by Jamie Metzl offers a unique opportunity to form a learning community
around our common reading and discussion of the book.
Understanding the ethical and moral impact contemporary genetics makes on humanity is important for the future of our species and our planet. We’ll focus each week on a section of the book. Joe will facilitate our understanding of the science and help us to draw out the ethical spiritual implications.
“Hacking Darwin…paints a picture
that is at once wondrous and terrifying.
Metzl writes with great clarity and a sense of urgency
that we should all take to heart.”
