History of Pilgrimage

March 20 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Facilitated by George Matejka on ZOOM

A recurring theme in major religions is the concept of pilgrimage. Judaism’s three pilgrimage festivals are Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot. The Hajj is a pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia that is required  of every able-bodied Muslim who can afford to do so and is physically able to make it. Pilgrimage in  Christianity is a journey to a holy place with religious or spiritual significance. It’s not compulsory, but many Christians choose to go to holy sites to heal or deepen their connection with God.

$20
