On Living by Kerry Egan

June 6, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

a Zoom book discussion
with Matt Gesicki

Join us for a lively discussion of On Living, a collection of essays by hospice chaplain Kerry Egan. Through anecdotes about her encounters with dying patients and their families and through personal reflection on traumatic events in her own life, Egan engages in poignant, accessible storytelling about an end-of-life spirituality that seeks healing and embraces joy even in dark    valleys. In the spirit of partnership through dialogue, participants will be invited to share their own personal experiences with mortality and end-of-life care.

If possible, come prepared having read On Living in full.

If that’s not possible due to the current situation,
Matt will scan a few of the essays to share with participants in advance.

Let us know of your interest by June 3 so we can send you the appropriate zoom information.
$15 payable to Centering Space.

Matt Gesicki earned a Master of Divinity in Psychology and Religion from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, where he studied Buddhist and Christian teachings on suffering and traditions of healing. He is currently a Volunteer Service Manager with Hospice of the Western Reserve
