Painting the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary

George will show the paintings of several renowned artists to highlight the events commemorated in the Five Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary.
Painters have used their imagination and artistic expertise to put onto canvas their interpretations of the events of the Resurrection, the Ascension, the Descent of the Spirit on the Apostles, the Assumption, and the Coronation of Mary as Queen of Heaven.
Engaging with these famous paintings can inspire us to continue to live our lives in the ongoing grace of Jesus’ resurrection, which is the great portent to our own resurrection into eternal life.
