Preparing for the Advent of the Messiah CANCELLED
December 8, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Facilitated by George Matejka
on Zoom
Advent is a time of preparation. This year we pause to look more deeply into the wonder-filled preparations that are described in the gospel stories of Matthew and Luke as we get ready once again to recall the daily coming of the Messiah into our lives.
First the evangelists tell us how God’s guiding hand is consistent, yet sometimes surprising us in the process.
Then they narrate the unfolding progress of Mary and Joseph as they are led into the fullness of the Mystery.
We are invited to look through the words of Scripture into our own life story and open our hearts to the ever new and always precious self discovery hidden in the Christmas story.
$30 (for the two sessions)
