Reading the Bible from the Underside: A Journey of Liberation

March 1 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Registrations are closed for this event

Facilitated by Alex Lopez

This program invites us to interpret the Bible through the eyes of those who have been historically marginalized —   by race, class, gender, or other social factors. We’ll explore how those who benefit from unjust structures have used the Bible to justify their worldview and make their perspectives normative. Alex will guide us to recognize the importance of prioritizing the voices and experiences of those who have been disenfranchised and oppressed.

All are welcome to engage in this eye-opening perspective on the cherished words
of our spiritual tradition.

$25
