The Mystical Sense of Life

The concept of the mystical does not refer to divine visions or eccentric levitations as told in the stories of saints, but a deep-set awareness of that in which we live and move and have our being. Our exploration will reveal that we are all mystics – some more than others, yet all harboring the potential to nurture this profound connection.
This will be a conversational exploration enabling us to dive into a deeper sense of divine life, reaching the profound theological depth known as the mystical sense of life.

Alex Lopez is an experienced educator who moves in the space between philosophy and theology. He currently serves as lecturer at Cleveland State and John Carroll University, in addition to being a member of the theology faculty at Saint Joseph Academy. Beyond his academic commitments, Alex passionately advocates for the Earth and all its inhabitants.
