Wheel of the Year: Yule / Winter Solstice
December 19 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
“Quietly we slept
in the deep, dark Solstice night
rocked by its magic.”
~ Terri Duclos
Come join us in Circle where together we will create Sacred Space and celebrate the turning of the Wheel of the Year to the season of Yule and the Winter Solstice. This festival celebrates the shortest day and longest night, and is the season of gathering with loved ones for storytelling and gift-giving as the darkness and cold descend upon our world. We wait with anticipation for the Sun’s return to our world bringing His light and warmth, as we look forward to the Wheel turning once again.
In our Sacred Space we will share rituals, symbols, stories, guided imagery meditations, simple crafts, music, food and drink.
You are invited to bring a potluck dish or dessert to grace our Yule celebration table following our ritual together (optional).
