Disciple-ing in John’s Gospel

March 5 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

A Four Session Lenten Program

In John’s Gospel, discipleship is a verb; an on-going life-enriching and demanding process.

Rather than being simply a testimony about Jesus, this view of the life of Christ seems written to offer guidance to those who seriously desire to become his followers.

We will reflect on this enriched understanding of the Gospel of John and its meanings for us. Sessions will include short presentations, reflective writing time, and the sharing of our insights.

Session 1 ~ Jesus and the Process of Discipling
Session 2 ~ Peter, the In-process Disciple
Session 3 ~ Jesus’s Discipling Guidance
Session 4 ~  Death and Resurrection for Jesus’ followers
