Finding the Sacred Through Poetry

You do not have to know a thing about poetry, because included in this session are very accessible “gems” from Mary Oliver, Billy Collins, and other poets, traditional and contemporary.  This gathering allows for reflection and a deeper dive into meaning that gets a good response from even (initially) hesitant participants.
We’ll use St Benedict’s time-honored method of mindful reading (Lectio Divina) to lead us to our insights.

Kim Langley, M.Ed. is a professional speaker, a spiritual director, and President of LifeBalance Enterprises.  She’s a poetry lover by education and avocation.  Her infectious appreciation and love of poetry overflows in the festival of words from extraordinary poets, engaging us in savoring each poem as a springboard to deeper reflection, journaling and prayer,
